HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU REGAS YOUR AIRCON SYSTEM?

At Forrest Motors Lincoln we recommend an aircon service and regas every two years to keep your aircon system working properly.
Your car air conditioning system loses up to 15% of its refrigerant every year. A poorly performing car air conditioning system can cause a build-up of fungus, bacteria and other microbes growing inside the evaporator core, causing a smell, sometimes an allergic reaction and can lead to legionnaires disease. A poor air con system can increase your fuel costs, as the air conditioning pump needs to work harder.

WHAT'S INCLUDED WITH AN AIRCON REGAS?

Our experienced technicians will remove the old refrigerant gas from your system before replenishing it under vacuum with fresh refrigerant, leak sealing and detection agent and compressor lubricating oil.

HOW LONG DO WE GUARANTEE OUR PARTS FOR?

All parts and labour carry a twelve month or 12,000 miles warranty.

DOES BRINGING MY VEHICLE INTO FORREST MOTORS AFFECT MY BMW WARRANTY?

European law, known as “Block Exemption” changed in 2003, which means that independent garages can carry out a BMW service without making your BMW warranty invalid. A BMW service at Forrest Motors Lincoln means that your car service has its warranty protected because we use genuine parts that are of “Original Equipment” (OE) quality standard. All BMW service books are stamped on every BMW service we do; also each BMW service carries a 12 monthly part and labour guarantee.

*Management reserves the rights to request a 50% deposit of the final invoice for any works undertaken.

Petronas Oil 0.530 fully synthetic LL04. For M Models we use Castrol Edge.

DOES FORREST MOTORS OFFER A COLLECTION & DELIVERY SERVICE?

Given enough notice, we can collect and drop off your car at either home or work at no extra charge.
